House on the hill
Originally commissioned in 2019, this project began as a vision to unify two distinct character homes on the same property—creating a cohesive expression that honoured their individual charm while introducing contemporary functionality. Construction commenced in 2020 under the guidance of the previous owner-builder, with works progressing through the early phases of the pandemic.
The design intent focused on connecting the dwellings through a considered extension that would accommodate a new master suite and create generous, levelled entertaining spaces. The ambition was to establish a seamless flow across the home. Although much of the interior work was realised, external areas remain incomplete, offering new opportunities that are yet to be explored.
Now under new ownership, we’ve been re-engaged to carry the project forward. Our task is to build upon the original concept and deliver a refined, modern family residence the responds to the current owners’ lifestyle and aspirations.
