Navigator’s Watch – Bulimba

The history of this site brought about the narrative for this house.  A heritage listed tree at the rear of the site had been used by ships to navigate the bend in the Brisbane River for over a hundred years.  The residence was respectful of this and maximise the views and impact it had.  This was achieved by using a reflective curtain wall to mirror the tree and cityscape in the building.  The driving idea of the residence was to be modern boat house.
